David's Story
Life
David Speight (on the free site MySPACE: HDAVETV) has moved to Orlando Florida wher he is a Senior Web and database developer for Sunguard Higher Education. His duties are similar to those he had while Technology Specialist for UCLA Extension Facilities where he had the operational, technological and financial responsibility for all locations across Southern California with more than 100,000 students annually.
Speight has nine years of Intranet experience at UCLA Extension. Before joining UCLA Extension, Speight was Assistant to the President at NBCs local O&O in Burbank where he was responsible for assisting with day to day administrative operations as well as producing creative content for the stations annual billion dollar budget presentation. Prior to serving at NBC, Speight produced several other projects including the Financial Presentation to investors in Universal Studios Japan and Management Training modules and videos for NordicTrack.
Speight frequently works as a free-lance consultant on internet and web based projects. He holds a B.A. degree in Cinema/TV/Business from the University of Southern California. His site and info is located at hdavetv.
