David's Story

School Kindergarten and Grammar: Sheridan St. Pascal Baylon Fruitridge (1 yr. in California) Highschool: Hill High St. Thomas College The University of Minnesota Metropolitan State University Graduate School: The Alfred Adler Graduate School The Minnesota School of Professional Psychology College I was a horrible student in highschool and started to become a better one in college. Then round about the age of 32 I started to feel smarter. It could have been a result of the antidepressants, but who knows. I finished my bachelors degree finally at the age of 38, and then my masters at 48. I was on the way to my doctorate at 58 but got sick right in the middle of it. Had a couple of heart attacks and decided to retire...from everything academic. I do miss it so...Expand for more
metimes. My course of study was psychological testing, severe mental illness, and the neurobiology of violence. I had worked on a couple of high-profile murder cases with the forensic psychologist I was apprenticed to and found this field of study quite interesting. I now do art and play a bit of music sometimes. After high school I was the drummer for the Mystics through 1967. I then played with the 'Hot Half Dozen' and finally the 'Seraphic Street Sounds.' The Mystics were inducted into the Minnesota Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006 along with the Half Dozen. My message to anyone reading this bio is, that it is never too late to start over. Our marvelous democracy gives us the right and opportunity to succeed or fail, and then to begin again. David
