David's Story
Hello, everyone,
I hope you are all doing well. San Diego has been my home for more than 35 years now and I have to say that I am somewhat spoiled. It rarely rains from April to November, but my grown up kids know that they will almost always experience rain when we visit Connecticut. While I was an avid runner in high school, I traded in my running outfit for iron dumbells many years ago. I still work out at the gym (mostly at home during the pandemic), three days per week and 1.5 hours each time. Hey, I have to make sure I live long past retirement age! I currently work for a company that makes chip testing machines for companies like Intel, Qualcomm, and Samsung. Travel to Asia is not uncommon and I thank God for my Translator app!

As of 1/4/2021 I am officially retired from full time work. It's time to do other things. Once you've worked for 40 years, it's time to enjoy the "healthy years" before you can't.
My family and I visited my relatives in CT in 2013 and I stopped by our school. I was surprised to see that ties are NOT mandatory! That is great.
I am looking forward to our 50th reunion. I hope to see you all there.
Lately I've discovered Turo, a company that connects people who need or love to drive with those who want to rent their own vehicles. I will add some recent photos of adventures made possible by Turo. Of course some exotic vehicle rentals require going to Los Angeles to pick up the car. I think you'll be able to tell which one it is in my photos.
