David's Story
After high school i attended Ryerson and took a degree in business. During my time at Ryerson i married a young lady (and yes after 42 years of marriage she is still my young bride) from Hamilton who i met while working at Bell Canada.
Shortly after finishing my degree we bought a home in Brampton, where i worked first as a banker, then a sales representative, product manager, canadian sales manager and at last a Managing Director.
We had three active children and all seemed to be going well. As things go my bride got a offer from Bell to go to Denver on a three year contract. By this time our daughter had just finished grade nine, and the boys were in 6 and 3 all taking french immur...Expand for more
sion. The offer was to good to refuse so we packed everything up and left for the usa. Well the three years have long come and gone, as has Bells interest in the Denver company but here we are. I started a marketing business 21 years ago and my bride has become a partner in a real estate development company. We never figured out when our three years were up. It has been fun!
we still get back to Ontario at least once a year to our cottge up near Bracebridge (a long weekend drive).
Our kids are starting to spread out as well (one in Arizona .. one flying for a airline as a pilot and the last working as a graphic artist in Denver and has started his own business)
How time has flown by.
