David's Story
David attended Glassboro State College and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (Industrial Management)and Widner University for 2 years to study Mechanical Engineering. He also received his Project Management Professional(PMP)Certification from the Project Management Institute in 2002. He is also a member of the American Association of Cost Engineers (AACE) and the Design Build Institute Of America.
He has worked for large Engineering & Construction Firms such as United Engineers, Brown & Root, Day & Zimmerman, Raytheon, and is now a Programme Controls Manager for CH2M Hill Inc.
He was the the South East Regional Project Controls Manager in Gainesville, Florida before taking a post at the corporate offices in Denver, Colorado as the Projects Control Manager for the newly formed Power Division. After establishing this new group he accepted positions developing project control systems for a number of international clients. These included positions in Singapore, Germany, France, Qatar, Jordan, and India.

e of the Programme Controls Managers for the 2012 Olympics that will be held in London. This is a huge construction programme consisting of over 35 projects and taking 4 years to complete. he has lived in London since late 2007 and hopes to return home by the end of 2009.
David has been married to Maudeen (Burlew) for nearly 41 years. He has 2 Children Tracy and David as well as 5 Grandchildren.
Comment: Wow -- over 40 years! I can still remember being out on the grass for our graduation rehearsals. It just seems like yesterday that we graduated on that warm June evening. I can still remember Dale Vaughn's song and the words we all heard about going into a new world. Well it has been a new world but not exactly like the one I imagined back then.
I read the names of the class of 68 and remember faces and conversations. The ones who went to Seabrook elementry school have been people I have known my whole life. People I played with on the playground. Girls I had my first crushes on. It may sound silly, but these are memories that keep us young in our hearts.
