David's Story
Life
Miller Junior High was pretty cool. Aberdeen High
mostly sucked. A few teachers were really great
though, such as Bob Hunter (art), Bob Carter (English)
and Bob Houbrigs (History). (What is it with good
teachers named Bob in Aberdeen?)
Graduated from Aberdoom High in 1988. Attended
Grays Harbor College, studying journalism, art and
music. Worked for the (now-defunct AFA...Expand for more
IK) North
Beach Beacon newspaper in Ocean Shores as
graphics editor for a year or so.
Moved to Bellingham, Washington in June 1993. For
several months, worked for a minor local alternative
newspaper, Talk of the Town, as Assistant Editor.
Worked for The Bellingham Herald as a graphic artist for eight years from 1998 to 2006. I'm currently a part-time professional photographer.
