David's Story
Hi all!
After HS I joined the Air Force in Sept of 88. After basic I was stationed in Denver, Co for training. That is where I met my wife Anne. We were married in Sept of 1989 and still going strong after 18 years of marriage and three kids (all girls, as I am sure some of you will get a real kick out of). While I was in the Air Force we lived in Korea for one year and Italy for three years. While in Italy we were fortunate enough to see most of Europe, twice. Our first daughter was born in Italy and enjoys dual citizenship.
After the Air Force we lived in Roanoke, VA for three years and had two more kids. I was lucky to land a job with a small technology and services company. From there I accepted a position with Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) as a Regional Director in the Philadelphia, PA area. long some of the time. Since then I have been building my own consulting firm focus of State and Federal contracting (The Arcanum Group). We are enjoying some success as a result of our contracts with the Air Force, Veterans Administration, and the State of Colorado.
Other stuff:
¿ Finished my BS in Management after six years of night classes. I really should have paid more attention in HS.
¿ I have also gone on to complete my PMP certification (Project Management Professional) and I am a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
¿ For those of you who don¿t want to do the math, our girls are 17, 14, and 11. All of them have been homeschooled through middle school and will attend public HS.
¿ My faith is still very important to me, (Thanks to John P for sharing in HS!) Now with God¿s help and a little maturity I try to live like it most days. I really miss the days in Fellowship of Christian Students and the annual Truth concerts in the school auditorium.
¿ Now that I am approaching forty, I am really regretting not staying in better touch with old friends. So drop me a line through the company and I will do my best to respond.
