David's Story
I know how old friends remember me but truely, they don't know me at all. My life is devoted to my family and helping my children through the toughest times in thier lives. I would like to spend time with old friends but who would want to reminisce for hours about things that were really moronic and not talk about what has been missed during their lives? Most of my old friends don't want to talk about what their life has been like because it didn't turn out like they wanted. I would have to say that I would like to do a some things over but I really have had a pretty full and interesting life. I have traveled a lot and have seen foreign lands in both hemispheres. da, Colombia, Mexico, England and all over the USA. I have had the opportunity to take my children with me and now, have the opportunity to live back in Iowa...the land I learned to love... after I left it. Retirement is upon us and many of us are there already. I choose to continue to work in a fun job. When it becomes a chore, I will retire. I have retired from two previous jobs, one in Marshalltown and one in Tempe, AZ. I worked for America West Airlines and for US Airways for 18 years. I have worked in just about every line of employment you can think of other than those requiring higher degrees. I am 61 and looking forward to talking with anyone that remembers me and is not affraid to say "HI David"
