Workplace Now in the Navy I have advanced three times in Rank and Paygrade. I am currently an Operation Speacialist Third Class Petty Officer or OS3(SW). The SW means Surface Warfare Specialist. I earned that pin by learning everything there is to know about my ship and Navy Core knowlege. After transfering ships from a supply ship to a frigate I am in the proccess of requalifiing on this new platform. I get to wear my pin on my uniform still I just have to learn everything about this ship to wear it proudly. I am very close to requalifing now. My advancement test isn't until March, but I am studying now to have that edge on my peers. Also I am studying the ASVAB booklet to retake my ASVAB test to submit a package to Navy Seals Training. One of my hobbies is to find other ways of making money. Now with my spare time I am trying to become an Independent buisness owner. Currently my buisness team is small, but progressing. They live all over the US. After I have established my buisness I will keep upgrading information here. Military Wow! Since boot camp.....Well boot camp was spent in Great Lakes IL the summer after graduation. I went to Navy boot camp and it is two months long. When I got to there I was kinda wide eyed at the proccess I was about to go through. First going through the gates from the airport seeing the armed Sentries standing gate gaurd was my first indication that what I was about to do was going to be a shock. Off of the bus into the recieving center with people from all over the US was cool. They started yealling as soon as we stepped off the bus. I can take a good yealling, but this was rediculus. Then 'Hair cuts' followed that....Well to not linger on boot camp I stayed awake for 48hrs of indoc. I felt okay though knowing that Sean Welliver was in a Divsion close to mine. See I went with him cause I didn't want to go it alone. My twin brother was in boot camp already and in my upper class Division teaching us how to live through boot camp without to much of a stress. Good thing they did teach us too! I got yealled at a lot at first, but delt with it. Long story short two months later I am out of Boot camp. After bootcamp I procceded to Virgina Beach VA for training as a Operation Specialist. My job is to look at radars and charts to drive the ship in the right direction. Virgina was a blast.....Only one hurricane and I was good to go. I partied some after I turned eighteen, but I focused on training for Navy Seals.
