David's Story
Life
My wife and I met in Californina in 1987 while at orientation for Summer Missions. We were married in 1989.
Currently I manange research grants for professors at the University of Louisville.
My wife and I are busy raising three daughters. All three are involved in Girl Scouts as is there Mom. I have been the cook at their Girl Scout day camp since 2003.
I stay busy with my church, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, and Order of the Eastern Star. In 2007 I have become more involved with the York Rite bodies. Currently, I am an officer in my Royal Arch Chapter and Council of Royal & Select Masters. I am hoping to become more involved with my Knight Templar Commandery.

art-time job at a local movie theatre. I started out as an usher. Currently, I am one of the projectionist. We have 19 screens, so I take care of either 9 or 10 movies at a time.
Workplace
Currently, I work at the University of Louisville in the Office of Grants Management. The position is responsible for reviewing research proposals for University PIs, negotiating award contracts, and setting up the grants in the financial system.
I have been at the university since April 1996. I started out in the Controller's Office and came to my current position in December 2000.
Military
I have never been in the military. I have a great respect for those who have served and those who are currently serving.
