David's Story
Life
My bio...well...if I live to be 90 I'm halfway there at the time I write this. Certainly not the path I thought it would be, but life is like that. For weal or woe, everything I have done in my adult life hinges on my summer between junior and senior years of high school. For those that remember or know about it, I won't bore you with the details (again ;-)..), but it is the singular event that has helped me attain goals I only dreamed of. Still looking for that special woman to share life with. I hope that we find each other, but will continue my individual adventure until then. If you know of a canidate, send her my way. lol. I have been fortunate to have a number of friends over the years that I remember and hold close to my heart. Even if we haven't seen each other in years, you are remembered. Especially those that visited me in the hospital in that summer long ago. The Gnomes & Cuties were more help than any of them could know. Sure, I sound sentimental and I suppose I am. s some saying that those who do not remember history's lessons are doomed to repeat the past. I enjoy driving around Florida and finding something in the old and new to make photographic art from. Getting tougher to do with gas prices the way it is going. Well...going to wrap this up and say to most of you who haven't been in touch to write and say hello and perhaps renew our friendship. Looking forward to hearing from you and catching up. Thanks for everything!
School
From the halls of Jessie P. Miller, to the shores of Bubble Gum bay; we will fight our teacher's battles with spit balls, gum and clay; first to fight for lunch and recess, and to keep our desk a mess; We are proud to claim the title of the teacher's number one pest! To be sung to the Marine Corps Hymn with gusto! ;-)
Was it me, or wasn't Mrs. Pollard the best?!
Whitey says hello! I miss that nickname. ;-)
Told ya I had a good memory. ;-)
College
Spent way too much time in the Student Center at MJC during my traditional college age era. Did go on later and attained my Masters after I figured what I needed to do when I grew up...not saying that I grew up, but I did at least figure it out. ;-)
