David's Story
After graduating from college I went to work for GE, spent 3 years in LA, 6 years in Portland, 10 years in Eastern Oregon, Recently moved to Eastern Wyoming and opened a new locomotive shop for GE. I currently run this shop and have a customer service center I manage in Oregon as well. I really enjoy what I do and in may will be my 20th year with GE. It is a awesome job and I have a great team of managers and mechanics. If not at work I am either out riding my motorcycle or going offroad. fun with. Or going to the imperial sand dunes in Glamis CA with the guys I ride quads and dirt bikes with. GE has been real good to me so I have some fun toys to get out and play with. Its been a great ride so far. I really enjoy where I live and my friends. Kinda miss the west coast, but do not miss the rain. It is pretty cool that my folks make it out often and stay for extended periods. It is kinda cool here being in the part of the state I am in. SD is close(MT rushmore, Black Hills etc..), Denver CO is just to the south, and the sand hills of western NE are not far.
