Dawn's Story
Life
I am a medically retired (I have many chronic health problems)teacher (Special Ed. and Early Childhood) and I own my own business called POET TREE GIFTS. I live in a beautiful home on three acres in Northfield, MN. with my husband Eric (Special Agent for the BCA)and our three children: Brett-13, Bryce-8, Julia-7. We have a tri-colored Papillon named Buddy.
My children keep me very busy. My oldest is musically gifted and has just been invited to write the score for an upcoming film. He plays piano, percussion, and sings. He is a member of several different types of bands. He also belongs to two different choirs (He toured in Chicago this year), Knowledge Masters, Math Masters, Science Olympiad, LEO'S, soccer, and on and on it goes for this one. He either wants to be a Lawyer or a Scientist when he grows up.
Bryce is the 2004 Defeat of Jesse James Days Junior Royalty Ambassador. He has really enjoyed all of the Parades and events associated with his title. He also enjoys soccer, baseball, gymnastics, choir, and piano.

ia Lee (adopted at birth) is a professional actress. She's very good and says acting is "who she is". She is also seven going on seventeen. She has a Personal Manager and an Agent in LA. She loves it out there and would move in a heartbeat but her dad says no. She has done one film, due out in October, called THE SANDMAN and two commercials, one of which is currently airing in Detroit. It is for the Detroit Pistons. She also is a Model. Julia sings, takes Jazz, Tap, and Ballet (she co-hosted her recital this year)and will soon begin piano.
Like I said, I have very busy children. I bring them everywhere (in case anyone cares-I wouldn't) in a white Suburban Z71 or a maroon and gold F150 pick up with a topper.
My hobbies are Reading, Gardening, Rubber Stamping, Painting (I painted a mural in my Laundry room), Writing (I am a published Poet), and Researching. We attend Hosanna! Lutheran Church in Lakeville where my husband grew up. God has truly blessed me with an incredible family, something I missed out on growing up, and I am forever grateful.
