Dawn's Story
I reside in the St. Louis area.
I have been married 7 years to my hubby. We have no children.
I was an insurance agent for GMAC Insurance but was laid off August, 2008. I got a job as a collection agent but the company overhired and laid people off.
Now I am going back to school to get my associates and become an RN. My plans are to go on to get a BSN in Nursing as well and possibly a Masters to become a nurse midwife. But one baby step at a time.
My hero I would have to say was my father. He & my Mom raised 7 kids on his salary. My Mom stayed at home while he worked. He was amazing at being able to fix cars, lawnmowers, etc. If there was an engine in it he could fix it. I wonder what he would say now to all the computerized sutff on cars today.

Septemer 7, 1997. A big hole was left in my heart where he used to be.
I have 3 cats. Hubby wasn't too happy with the additon of the third furball last June but he is used to it now. I am not home enough to have a dog.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the whole house and add on a a master suite . My dream home would be a house I designed.
If I won $100 million, I'd give $5 million of it to setup a scholarship, then spend the rest on buying a slighty bigger house no mansion , take my whole family on a cruise and the rest would be saved.
My best friend would tell you I'm a good llistener, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as reseved or stuckup.
In 10 years, I hope to be a nurse midwife. I'm going to get there by hard work, determination & sacrifices.
