Life
Aloha! Been living in Hawaii since '90, Where my husband is from. We have 3 childern. While in Oregon, I worked 10 yrs for Weyer, then moved to Laie. Now live in Kahuku. (North shore Oahu) Worked for Foodland as a Manager for 9yrs. I am currently at BYU-H, where I am in the Housing Dept. I miss Ore and all it has to offer,but its nice to live in the country (yes Hawaii has country )that if u forget to lock your door, you should be o.k. Its nice to have kids go to a school that is getting a good rep,in their sports. I now go to watch and cheer instead of going to have fun with my friends and not even know what the score was as was the thing to do in High School. (Red Raider 4 Life! Go Big Red!)...Expand for more
We have many stars that are playing in the NFL now,my kids alumni's have at least 5 and growing) I miss the Spring in Oregon and all those flowers that bring the area back to "life". You can keep the "Black" Ice, I'll keep the rain. Hawaii is still not cheap, Milk and gas r still expensive, housing...I dreamed as a kid to wonder what it would be like to live in a $400-500k house, but I think I was dreaming that it would have more then a bedroom and carport! the garbage pick up and the sunsets are still free!
