Dawn's Story
Life:
I'm still in Nebraska where I worked as an on air personality and website manager for the Blaze from May 1997 - June 2011 and from March 2016 to current have a local band program. I currently work in software training and documentation for PrismRBS. I also work for Eagle Hollow Haunts, a haunted house at Eagle Raceway.
I've helped with animal rescue for ferrets, as well as having a variety of pets including reptiles, ferrets and more.
I followed a path I didn't see in high school and I'm glad I did. Because of that choice, I've met people who I never thought I'd have the chance to, mostly musicians and actors. I've gone to Sturgis Bike Week. I've been inside a WCW wrestling ring as part of a match before Monday Nitro. I've stood on stage and introduced bands at concerts.

ll walks of life who enlightened me, been teachers, acquaintances and friends.
A lot has changed since high school, but then doesn't it always. Things don't always follow the plan we leave school with. And sometimes going with the flow of life is better than the plan.
It's been an interesting ride so far.
School:
School was school, was it supposed to be anything else?
Sure there are things that I may have changed had I known what I know now back then. But if I hadn't done those things, been who I was, I would never have become who I am now.
College:
Been there, did that at UNL. I have the piece of paper that says I made it through. There were some interesting times I'm sure, but most of them had to do with life than the classes I was taking. Not to say I didn't learn anything in the classes that I don't still apply. Hey I learned how to balance a million things going on at once,.
