Dawn's Story
Life
After graduating, I enter the Air Force and went to boot camp at Lackland Air force Base in San Antonion, TX I passed the at that time the 6 weeks course and became a part of the Air Force and was transfered to Pensacola, FL to start my training for my field I would be in. I met a serviceman who arrived to Pensacola the day after I did. We began dating and ended up getting married 3/10/79. Before I was transferred to Misawa Air base Japan. My stay in the Air Force was not a long one, I only ended up doing a year and was back in pensacola reunited with my new husband. And we have been together ever since, except for the times his Naval Career has taken him away out to sea. I have lived in Florida {3 times}, Pennsylvania, Virginia {2 times} and the final 11 years in California which is where he retired from the Navy in 1997 after serving 20. wonderful Children a 32 year old son, 30 year old daughter and a 29 year old son, who is married and is a proud father of his son Dyllyn born July 19, 2006 and his daughter Dayllynn born 12/28/2009 (Our lovely grandchildren) We have lived in New Mexico for 15 years. My husband works for Intel and we are grateful that during the recent lay offs my husband was one that was chosen to keep his job and ended up getting a promotion. I became disabled in 1990 with MS, and a multiple of other health problems. I enjoy reading, games on the internet, music, being with my pets. working in my yard and working out to lose weight and be as healthy as I can be. I enjoy the time I get to spend with my grandchildren, they are growing so fast.
My husband and I have currently celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary and I sure hope that there will be many more of them to follow.
