Dawn's Story
Life
After graduating from Hale, I attended the U of W and received a BA in Anthropology. I thought that was a pretty cool major at the time. But after I married in 1971, I took accounting at night school and became a bookkeeper. I "retired" a few years ago and am now at home with the 2 dogs, 3 cats and my husband. My hobbies are quiltmaking, reading mysteries and community activism.
I live in Moorpark,, CA.

for now. After our last dog passed away in April, we thought we'd just enjoy our cats for awhile before considering the addition of a new 4-legged friend. We did purchase a vacation home on Camano Island a few years ago. I just love owning a piece of the NW. I continue to make quilts and enjoy the company of my quilting friends. I belong to 2 book clubs now: a "regular" book and a mystery book club. Oh, and I am in a Spanish class at the local senior center. So much fun! Great group of people and we're managing to learn some Spanish ..despite the creeping dementia.
