Dawn's Story

Life Hello All! Since high school, I have had a pretty interesting life. I am currently in a long term relationship with a man I have known since the 7th grade, Neal. We live together in Minot with our 4 kids. Logan-11, Michael- 9, Morgan- 8, and Ridley- 4. I am a Wedding Consultant and hope to be in business by the end of next year. I have changed a lot over the years, although I am still out spoken and passionate about my beliefs. I was disappointed that our class did not have a reunion, it would have been nice to see everyone again, especially the people who really touched my life and gave me some very fond memories. Todd, from you I learned that I should let how I feel and what I think be known, so that I don't spend the rest of my life wondering "what if". Kevin, you taught me to be myself and not follow the crowd if I wanted to be truly happy. Amy, you taught me confidence and kindness. Mikael, from you I learned the importance of being a good friend. Ginger, you taught me that I should love myself for who I am. Shannon, you taught me to love others for who they are. I know most or even all of you didn't even know that you taught me these lessons, but now you do. I was blessed to have met all of you. Anyway, I know a lot of you thought I was.......well, different. You were right, but I hope I shook things up enough and helped to broaden your view. I hope to one day see you all again. In the meantime, I will leave you with a few quotes from my senior memories book. As the blossom cannot tell what becomes of it's fragrance, so no one can tell what becomes of his influence. Carve your name on the hearts of others-not on marble. The highest wisdom is kindness. -Talmud Cease to inquire what the day has in store and take as a gift whatever the day brings forth. -Horace It is when we forget ourselves that we do things that are most likely to be remembered. and............... How do you know what is going to happen tomo...Expand for more
rrow? For the length of your lives is as uncertain as the morning fog..... This last quote only emphasises my statement that if you feel something, or believe something, let it be known, or you may live in misery at the end of your days wondering.....what if.........I know there is one thing I will always wonder about, perhaps one day I can let it be known. School I think the teacher that inspired me the most was Mrs. Luetzen. She helped me really show who I was and taught me to never be afraid of that, even though I was rather unconventional. I will never forget that. I would love to relive my high school years over again. I had a great time, but there are many things I would have changed. I regret not being outgoing so that more people could have known the real me. I was so quiet and I think alot of people thought I was stuck up or something, but I was really just shy. I was happiest listening to other people and laughing at their stories rather than telling my own. I think the biggest crush of all was on Todd Finke. I have learned that if you say what you feel, you never regret missing the chance. School was almost a game to me. Almost like a movie. Let's see how far I can get without actually being involved. I chose my moments and my protests which are reflected in our senior pictures. I still think Mikael deserved that Homecoming nomination over Ann. It's hard to believe I can still be bitter about that after all these years, but beliefs are hard to let go of. Just like I still believe that it was wrong of Angie to make my life a living (as some may say)Hell, because of a miscommunication that happened one day. I have forgiven her, I just wish she would have been more understanding, but in high school, who can expect forgiveness. Anyway, as the questions ask, my biggest crush was Todd, the teacher who inspired me most was Mrs. Luetzen, I would do it all over again, funniest moment-me and Mark in the silly race during homecoming, Happiest-senior prom, craziest- Everyday with you people!
