Dawn's Story

Life Since high school, life has been a bumpy road. I have had more than my fair share of ups and downs, but I believe that I am a better person for it. I have three beautiful children, which, I must say, are my greatest, most perfect things I have ever done.Although my husband and I have been seperated for about 3 1/2 years, I am still very proud of him as he selflessly puts his own life in harms way working very hard at defending our country. As a Fire Support Specialist for the United States Army, he has been serving in "Operation: Iraqie Freedom" since late Feb. and has no indication that he will return anytime soon. Please~keep him in your prayers... Sure, life could probably be a little less stressful, but where would the fun be in that. I will take each day as it comes, and do the best I can. t-com. Bye Bye School School ~ Where to begin. I think first and foremost I would have to say that like everyone else, I wanted nothing more than to get done and out. Man what I wouldn't give to go back now. After high school, I went into the military, for what turn out to be both a very short, yet very worthwhile career. I then attended the International Air Academy, where I graduated on both the Presidents List, and the Honor Roll, receiving my Diploma as an Airline/Travel Specialist. As wonderful as that was, the travel industry was not my passion, so I decided to return to college to do, not what I had a passion for, but what I was good at. So I became an Accounting Major. However, after the first years of working towards my Associates of Applied Sciences in Accounting degree, I have decided to do what I should have done 11 years ago. I am now working towards a career in Forensic Science. I will keep everyone posted on how it goes...
