Dawn's Story
Life
God has certainly blessed me and my family over the years. I am living in Hales Corners with my wonderful husband, Ed, and my stepdaughter, Kayla. We also share our home with three cats and whichever boy Kayla is dating at the time.
After 13 years as a medical assistant, I realized I liked cats and dogs better than human patients, so I have been working as a veterinary technician since 2000. I absolutely love my work with anima...Expand for more
ls. Recently I got my rusty old brain back in gear and took the state exam to get certified, so now I get to put "CVT" behind my name on work documents :-)
I have also become a runner. Honestly! I couldn't even run the warmups for track practice in high school without dying. I did Al's Run in 2005 and was thrilled to finish with a 12 minute mile time. Injury has since derailed my progress, but I do hope someday to be even faster.
