Dawn's Story
Life

After high school, I completed a year of college then moved to Florida. George Myers moved to Florida a couple of months later and we were married the following year. Our daughter Kayla was born in July 1988. After nearly 2 years, we divorced and I kept custody of our daughter.
I completed college and became a Registered Nurse in 1995. Then, I met my second husband (David) in Tampa, FL, and we married in 1998. Shortly after our wedding, the Air Force transferred him (us) to the Norfolk, Virginia area, where I quit practicing nursing and went into business for myself. Sadly to say, that didn't work out.

red during Dave's 2nd week on the job. Fortunately for our family, Dave wasn't at the Pentagon that day like he was supposed to be. Otherwise, he would have been in the part of the building that was hit. (One of the many blessings God has given to me in my life!)
While in D.C. I decided to go back to college and earn a different kind of degree. I started working on a dual major of Network Admin and Business Admin. We moved in the middle of my degree and I've yet to return to college.
June 2005 the Air Force moved us again--this time to Tucson, Arizona.
Dave retired from the Air Force July 2007 and began his civilian career in August 2007.
The Lord willing, we won't be moving again :-)
