Dawn's Story
Life
Me in a short story version! HA Well lets see, Born in Georgia, moved to Missouri, Okinawa, Washington State, California, Texas, Heidelberg Germany, Kansas, Hawaii, California, Connecticut, and Maine. (See why it is a short version). Went to lots of schools, most on military bases up till 6th grade. Attended college in Colby Kansas. Have had many jobs, last 21 years have been in Law Enforcement. Love Motorcycling and instructing others in riding courses. Married twice, two kids, same with grandkids. (Had I known they would have come first, snicker). Single, not really looking but if the right guy comes along, ya never know.
School
Started school in 1963 at Fort Lewis, Washington. We then moved to Fort Ord and Garden Grove, CA till 2nd grade. I started 3rd grade in 1967 in Palacious, Texas even after a battle because they thought I was too young to be in 3rd grade.

moved to Germany. I finished 5th grade and most of 6th grade in Heidelberg, Germany when we moved to Salina, Kansas in 1971.
I finished 6th grade there and then attended Salina South Junior High School till the last eight weeks of my eighth grade when we moved to Minneapolis, Kansas.
I finished 8th grade at Minneapolis Junior High. Attended 9th grade at Delphos, Kansas (loved those daily bus rides, NOT) then finished high school at Minneapolis High School, graduating in May of 1977.
I then attended college at Colby Community College in Colby Kansas. While there I dispatched for Thomas County Sheriff's and the Town of Colby, I also was a school Crossing Guard. I finished in December of 1978 and came back for graduation ceremony in May of 1979 with an Associated Degree in Criminal Justice.
My further eductaion has been through the Connecticut Municipal Police Acedemy until 1989 and at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy until the present.
