Dawn's Story
Life
After graduating in 1988, I headed off to Northeastern University in Boston, where I studied Computer Engineering. I worked for most of the large Boston area Companies (Mitre, US Dept. of Transportation, MIT-Draper Labs, and Thomson Financial).
While working at Thomson, I met the man of my dreams, Rick Brady, and we married in 1999. We left Boston in 2000, to move to the NH seacoast, where we bought our first home and started our family. We had our first son, Ricky, in 2001, and our second son, Joshua Ronald, in 2002, and our daughter, Ginnelle in 2004, and our third son, Ryan in 2006. Ryan past away when he was a couple of months old due to complications from interstitial lung disease.
We want to thank our dearest family and friends for your enduring love, strength, and support during our deepest time of need and grief. Your prayers, thoughts, wishes and generosity were a great comfort to us. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.
In Grace & Peace, Dawn (Lund)
School
While a student at Traip, I had several friends in various clicks, but I mostly kept to myself. I participated in several school organizations, including Kittery K-Cap, Drama Club, French Club, Chorus, Softball, Student Council, and National Honor Society. During high school, I worked at the Kittery Malls, for the Dress Barn and Waterford Wedgwood outlet stores.
I was also very active in my church, St. Raphael's, where I was appointed the first teenage Eucharistic Minister. I also contributed as Asst. Church Secretary, Nursery & Special Programs Babysitter, and CCD Teacher.

bs (Stop & Shop Front-end Manager, and NU Computer Lab Supervisor.) Through those 6 years, I also started working for most of the major Boston Engineering Companies during my co-ops and short breaks from school to earn more money to go back, I had to switch back and forth from student to employee and vice versa numerous times. I always had 2 jobs plus school, or 3 jobs, and I was a member of several organizations, including the Society of Women Engineers, and IEEE.
I was a NU Residential Assistant from 1990 to 1994, for various Engineering Dormitories and Upperclassmen Apartments. I was also extremely active in the school's church, St. Ann's, where I was Student Church Secretary, Eucharistic Minister, Choir Member, Peer Minister and Student Councilor. I was also proud to receive the Richard Cardinal Cushing Scholarship for several years.
Workplace
While attending Northeastern University in Boston, where I studied Computer Engineering, I started working for most of the large Boston area Corporations. My first professional placement was at Mitre Corporation in 1989, where I was a Computer LAN Administrator. After several years I left and moved on to work at the US Dept. of Transportation, as a Group Leader for Government Computer Specialists. Then to MIT-Draper Labs, where I was a Training and Software Consultant. In 1995, I started at Thomson Financial where I was a Senior GroupWare Engineer. While working at Thomson, I met the man of my dreams, Rick Brady, and we married in 1999. In 2000, we moved to the NH seacoast and I worked for a small pre-IPO company Evelocity, where I was their Software Release Engineer and QA Supervisor. In 2001, I started my family, and now I am a happy homemaker.
