Dawn's Story
Hey, it should come as no surprise to anyone who knew me then that I never left Dade City. I work in local retail so I see several classmates on a regular basis. Feel free to come by and say Hi I am at Big Lots here in Dade City five days a week, rain or shine for the past 12 years now.
I am married; my wonderful husband is from KY. We first met in 1988, dated for almost 3 years and went our separate ways.
I went through a bad short-lived marriage from 1991-1995, which left me vowing to raise my girls Tessa and Samantha on my own. Well not exactly all on my own, I had the wonderful support of my Mother who was a blessing.
So 1995 ends with me divorced, back at home with two lovely little girls and a '79 Plymouth Volare with constant transmission issues. Thank goodness I know a guy who can work on my car cheap.

't be happier, she really loved this guy. The girls take to him immediately and he of course is smitten with all their cuteness too.
Brian and I were married May 1997. Our first anniversary came flying by and I was six months pregnant with twins. We lost Mom July 2, 1998 after her life long struggle with diabetes; she was only 49. This of course led to stress related complications, putting me in and out of the hospital, but all ended well Emma and Andrew were born August 11, 1998. Huge babies Emma 8lbs 8 oz and Andrew 7 lbs 13oz.
We were looking for a house to hold our brood when Mom passed away so we packed up our junk and moved back to 13th Street.
That's it in a nutshell.
Still in Dade City.
Still on 13th Street.
Still working at Big Lots.
Still raising four kids. Teenagers are such a joy <gag> now I know what I put my Mom through.
