Dawn's Story
Life
I have been diagnosed with a rare cancer and now I am retired and enjoying my time with my family and trying to catch up with old friends. If you remember me please get in touch.
This September 2007 will be 5 years cancer free YEAH! I was not expected to make it this long. I am not only a survivor, I am a fighter and I will win this battle.
I have two children. My daughter Amanda is married to a Navy man and lives in Virginia now. My son is in high school. He plans on following in moms footsteps and joining the Air Force.
I love riding motorcycle and enjoying each day I am given.

Workplace
I joined the Air Force in Feb 1986. I have been all around the globe. I have loved my career. Enjoyed my jobs. I am retired now, I miss the people and travel.
Military
Spent 10 years in POL. Hated it but loved it. Miss all you guys. I crosstrained into Contracting. Please give me a clipboard and send me on a run. I medically retired in 2003. Not the way I thought life would go. I will always remember my days in POL.
I now am 100% disabled veteran. Since I can't work I volunteer working with veterans. I really miss the Air Force WOW DID I SAY THAT!!!!!!!!!
Never thought I would miss it.
