Dawn's Story
It is so true what they say - "If I only knew then what I know now!"
I worked for the first 10 years after High School. About a year after the 10 year class reunion, I "retired" from the corporate world (e.g. had a child). At the time, I was working as a Marketing Specialist and traveling all over the US. It was a fabulous job then. It would kill me now. Today I'm basically June Cleaver. Now I taxi from Cub Scouts (where I'm den leader), PTA, piano lessons, swimming, etc.... it really is too funny. I take pride in being a wife and mother...Expand for more
and feel blessed that I was able to have a career outside of the home before I got my most rewarding job of being Mom. I do work part time and volunteer at school to keep busy. Life couldn't be sweeter!
I live in Minnesota with my husband Dave, son Riley-10 and daughter Sandy-8. It is darn cold here but a wonderful place to bring up kids. Dave's family is from here. My mom lives in Oregon City and I come home to visit once or twice a year.
Anyway - it's always good to hear from the ol' Estacada gang... always felt like a family to me.
