Dawn's Story
I am a Mom of 5 children and a granmother to 6 grandchildren (#7 due in Dec)! I graduated from Sandy Springs High in 1969 (Dec). I went to North Ga. College until 1972 - when I married a boy from UGA. I was married to Mike Camp. Hapeville High -Class of 1969! We graduated from UGA in 1973. Mike became a pilot in the USAF. He was medically retired from the AF in 1989. Mike died (cancer) in 1991. I remarried another pilot - Ty D. Holt (Gilbert High- class of 1981 / USAFA - class of 1985). Ty retired from the AF last year after serving 22 years!

my Masters degree from OU in 1992 and was working on my Doctorate when Ty & I were married in 1993.
Mike and I had 3 children (1973,1974 &1976); while Ty and I are still raising our 2 children (1994 & 1995).
While in Altus, Ok (since 1987) I have worked as a Counselor and a College Professor. I am currently Homeschooling our last 2 children.
In 2006 the doctors declared me "Terminally ill" Hospice came in to care for me. However, God is not done with me yet! While still very ill I manage to be amazed at the blessing of every new day! God is good! :-)
