Dawn's Story
My classmates at Central Elementary would have graduated June 1969 from Mount Baker High School..We moved to Salmo at the end of grade seven, then to Victoria at the end of grade nine. I played flute in the orchestra at Central Junior High. I attended Okanogan Summer School of the arts band program in 1966 an 1967. ment students at Mount Baker, and he taught follk guitar and classical guitar at the summer school and flamenco at private lessons. I also studed voice and piano with Mr Tommy Beynon who was the choir master at one of the protestant churches in Cranbrook. I knew his wife, who taught French at Mt Baker. Mr Tadey was our principal at central, Jack Allen was vice principal and taught my grade i7 class at Central elementary.
