Retired (2006, age 61) but not very good at it. Busier than when I was working. Perhaps, I'll have to give up the occasional consulting too. Maybe when I grew up. Married Kathy Coombs (Woodstown High '63, Salem Tech '65) in '66. Still a good-lookin' woman. And, still nice, too. Oh yeah, were still sleeping together and, more importantly, still talking to each other. Have a son, Jeffrey (b. '69; d. '95) and daughter, Brandi (b. '76) and, her husband, Chris. And, my special buddies, Tyler Jeffery(grandson, b '05) and Kaden (grandson, b '12). Grandchildren bring out the 'kid' in all of us. Spent nearly 40 years in the paper industry, R&D and manufacturing. Yeah, I'm the not-so-nerdy computer guy. Managed development of computer automated manufacturning systems and managed information technology. Also led workteam development and wellness programs. Got fired and rehired immediately...same job, thrice. Gosh big corporations are generally stupidly managed... At least I was having fun. In retirement I started my own litte business...so I can pat my own back and kick my own butt!!! Very enjoyable when you do business on your own terms. At System Services Group, LLC we have only have two rules: 1. Treat our clients the way we want to be treated. 2. Read rule number 1. It's very rewarding to help small and mid-size businesses manage their technologies with a human-focused approach. Schooling included Salem Tech ('65), Drexel University ('74) and Univ. of Dallas (MBA studies). Gosh finance and accounting are easy compared to electrical engineering.
