Dean's Story
It was the best of times. It was the worst of... what? That story's already been written? Well, crud. I guess I'll have to go with Plan B and just tell what I've done over the years. It's nowhere near as exciting, though.
After high school, I made the incredibly long trip to college.... at Wayland. Three years there, then transfer to Tech on a wacky dual-degree thing, two years at Tech, and presto... two pieces of paper instead of one! Huzzah! Oh wait.... I hate these subjects... why did I do that? Oh well... on to a rewarding job in the IT field at Reese AFB (which I actually like). Happy Happy Happ... aw crap. The base got closed down. I know! 'll start my own business, fixing other people's computers and teaching them how to use them! Hurray! Eleven years or so later, I finally figure out that working for yourself isn't always the happy fun-time it sounds like. Also, the second job as a property inspector isn't even as fun as the non-fun first job. And that brings us to the present, children, where I've decided to go off down another path. I'm not entirely sure which path, or even where it will take me, but I'm ready to put one foot in front of the other and see where I end up. It should be an exciting adventure. Well, compared to Plainview, anyway.
