Norman's Story
My first name is Norman, but I go by Dean. 1974 is the year I would have graduated but never did. Thanks to my mischievous youth I ended up getting kicked out of high school. Got a job cutting meat at Cross Meats on Douglas between Johnson and Yates. I then moved on to another butcher shop. When I was 20 I got married and moved to Edmonton and ended up becoming a city bus driver on my birthday July 14, 1980, where I met my current wife of 37 years. The first marriage wasn't meant to be. h. When we retired we bought a 40' motorhome and wintered in Mesa AZ. for three winters till Covid hit. Summered in the Comox area as my wife is from there and she had family in Campbell River. That's where we reside now. Campbell River. After being in a larger city for so many years and thinking I would never want to live someplace smaller... I was wrong. We love it here. Bought a corner lot with a rancher three blocks from the water. We keep pretty busy with fishing and lots of pickleball. Hunting in the fall. So don't be shy, and say hi. I see a lot of names but have a hard time putting a face to them and I lost all my school books when my parents both died when I was about 18. So if you know me say something and you might have to remind me just who you are. lol.
