Deanne's Story

Life The pets supply the means.. as well as companionship. They entertained my 3 kids, now they help to support them. We have Scooter (male AKC Yorkie),Sugar Baby, SweetPea,and MiniMe (AKC Yorkie females). I am a breeder of Yorkies now and then and sell the pups to help finance my childrens more adult needs. Like cars and stereos and insurance and gas. You know, the little things. I home schooled my son for 4 years, now 22. He graduated with a 4.0. I home schooled my daughter that carries a 4.0 so that she can attend college at the same time taking American Sign Language, and Calculous. I can't spell it, let alone do it! LOL She also runs cross country and track. She will be allowed to graduate at the end of this year ending her junior year rather then having to do her senior year for electives only. She's a go getter for sure. God Bless the Iowa school system. I think they are the best!!!UPDATE Dec.27,2008:Alysa's goal to attend a 4 year college right out of high-school became reality! She is attending Sac State University now and works part time in a physical therapy office, as an assistant therapist. Aaron lives in Lodi with the love of his life,Ashley. Adam, works for his dad and calls weekly and comes to hang out with me every couple of weeks. Alysa has sprouted wings and lives on her own while attending college full time ...Expand for more
and working part time. I worked for Willamette Industries for 19 years and retired from my career as a Print die mounter in 1995 after an industrial accident. Hey, stuff happens!! I was blessed with being able to stay home with my kids and raise them and watch over them in this crazy world that we live in. I am doing well and my job of raising the kids is almost at a close.. Two are now responsible for themselves and the last one.. well, a son is a son, until he takes a wife, but a daughter is a daughter all of her life. I keep very busy around here. The days still aren't long enough, and if they were any longer, I'd still run short of time. I'm quite content with my life. No regrets! I hope all of you that read this can honestly say the same!! Blessings, Deanne NEW CHAPTER in the book of life. Dec.27,2008 My 3 are all over 18 and I am going back to work for the state as an Office Tech. This should be interesting. I'm excited. But I am going home to visit first. I look forward to seeing my Mom and Sister, my friends Karine Bouma (REED), Becky Brown (SMITH) and hopefully, Kay Rule (MOELLER) and maybe some others here and there. Then I will come home to go back to work after 15 years of surgeries and disability. LOOK OUT WORLD!! HAAA I'm back!! God Bless America and that we can pull out of this ugly recession that we are in.
