Deanza's Story
Life
I'm living in Kiowa, Colorado. I have two kids, Brandon and Tasha. They're pretty much grown up, now. Brandon will be 20 in July and Tasha will be 19 in August. (2007)
As anyone who knows me knows, I started early in life.
I dropped out of school, got married, had 2 kids, divorced and then just found my way from there.
I'm happy to report that I did turn out okay, even though I had to struggle at times. I have a good career, a beautiful home, a lov...Expand for more

Workplace
I'm currently working in corrections. I'm a correctional officer at a maximum security state prison here in Colorado. It can be very challenging at times but it's also a unique opportunity to be able to be a part of a completly different world.
My goal is to become a parole officer. I plan on obtaining my POST certification in the near future which will get me to my goal within two years.
