Debbi's Story
Life
I've lived in the Seattle area since 1993. I've been married to Dave since 2002, but we've been together since 1994. Dave had two sons that I helped raise. Scott is now 23; James, who would have been 25 this year, was murdered last year in Butte, Montana. Last year was a tough year for us, as we also lost 10 friends in a plane crash.
Other than that, life for us is pretty darned good. :-) We both home office, so we don't have to fight the Seattle traffic most of the time. I work for myself doing software training and technical documentation development projects. Dave is an application engineer for a large electronics company, and works mainly with Boeing and the companies that serve them.

mping, which is how we met. We were on a competitive 4-way formation skydiving team for many years, and even won a national competition a few years ago. We're now working with newer jumpers, helping them get into competition by acting as player/coaches. I'm very close to making my 2000th skydive.
The past couple of years I've been making jewelry. I keep thinking I'll sell some of it, but that hasn't happened yet, mainly because I hate to part with any of it!
We have an amazing group of friends that we get together with several times a week, including "Wine Wednesday" at our home. It's not unusual to have 20-25 people here for dinner each week.
My sister and her family still live in Lewiston, so I get back there from time to time -- but Seattle is definitely my home.
