Debbi's Story
Life
It's been an interesting 3 years. I'm going to miss almost everything about England. Rather than July '08 being our next adventure, it looks more like summer or fall of '07. My husband's shop is moving and it looks like we will be, too. He will be crosstraining--Hurlburt field, Florida here we come.
We haven't been in the Continental U.S. for 7 years now. I've gotten quite used to the laid back pace of European society and NO WAL-MARTs!! (In fact, where I am, there is no fast food, nothing open on Sundays, no movie theatre, etc....you make friends or perish!!) Happy New Year!!
College
I am currently on "sabbatical" from UMUC Maryland/Europe! Okay, not officially. I am waiting to take next term classes and a Field Study. It was suppose to be Hemingway in Madrid, but in light of the current (Spanish National) situation, it will probably be Robert Louis Stevenson in Scotland! I will probably be a student forever.....Expand for more

Workplace
Right now my daughter and I are doing volunteer work for CLIC Sargent Foundation. It is for children with cancer. She became interested in some ads she saw on tv, we did our research, had a representative come to our home and are now set up for our own fundraising. Between soccer practice, swim lessons, piano lessons, homework, and the Foundation- we manage to keep ourselves going a bit. The addition of Sophia and her very rambunctious behaviour is also a job in its own right!!
Military
I met my husband when he was stationed in South Dakota at Ellsworth AFB. We left South Dakota in May 2000 and were stationed at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska till May 2004. We are now stationed at RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom. Paul went from being a Weapons Loader on the B-1's and F-15's to working now on the Pave Helicopters/Weapondry. Next comes Hurlburt Field, Florida 2007.
