Debbie's Story
Life
I went to college right after HS at Michigan Tech. While there, I met a great guy. Stu Laakso, we got married after my freshman year. We continued at Tech the following year. After that I went to Suomi College and received my associates in business.
We moved to Marquette for a couple of years. We had Laura when we were there. Hard to believe she's 22 already. Laura now lives in Wilmington, NC and is going to make me a Grandma in April 2008!
After that we moved to Grand Rapids and have been here ever since. We love it here! I have another daughter Nicole she's 18, she's off to college at Saginaw Valley playing softball & studying Mechanical Engineering. We'd like to leave Grand Rapids to chase after our children wh...Expand for more

I have worked in the architectural engineering business for several years, then had a company of my own for recruiting architects and engineers. Now I have moved on and am doing mortgages for the last couple of years. I can do a mortgage anywhere in the state, so if anyone lives in Michigan and wants to refinance or purchase, give me a call! Workplace
Update, I am now self-employed again. DS Business Resources, is a consulting business for small business. I supply credit card services, accounting help, commercial financing, and still residential financing.
