Debbie Hadgkiss:  

I served 4 1/2 years in the U.S. Navy from 1977 until 1981 working as a Personnelman Petty Officer 2nd Class in the Personnel Office at VT-23, Naval Air Station, in Kingsville, Texas. I married hubby #1 while still in the military and had my first child (Jeremy - now age 33) in 1984 - three years after my discharge in my first hubby's hometown of Irving, Texas. I separated from hubby #1 and moved back to New Jersey in March 1985 with my son before he was one year old due to incompatibility, etc. I initially lived with my parents in Hackettstown, NJ until I was able to get on my feet and worked for Prudential Insurance Company for 2 1/2 years as Head Switchboard Operator, Word Processing Technician, Photo Typesetter and Assistant Mail Room Supervisor in Parsippany, NJ. Around that time, I met hubby #2 in Hackettstown and we married in 1988 shortly after my first daughter Heather was born. Sara, my third and last child was born in 1992 while I was working for AT&T. My job with AT&T was eliminated in June 2008 after approximately 20 years of service and I'm currently on Social Security permanent disability due to progressive Fibromyalgia and other health issues. I sooooo do miss working though and the friendships I used to have. I divorced husband #2 in January 2009 after waiting approximately 18 years to do such but still living with him, two of my three kids (Heather-29 yrs. and Sara-25 yrs) and grandson born July 17, 2009 in Hackettstown, NJ due to economic reasons & awaiting eventual sale of home to ...Expand for more
