We all know I wasn't the most popular kid in high school but I would like to think that only made me a little tougher, a little more resilient, and a little more prepared (stubborn) to deal with things that came along that were not so great. Including a car wreck in 1988 that left me in a wheelchair ( but I'll keep trying to beat the odds and walk). Never too old to try, told ya I was stubborn! I am divorced and have 2 great girls, one 25 and recently married. The youngest is 16 now, and a straight A student. They have been my heart and soul. I think I am a bit of a late bloomer since I didn't go to college until later in life and am still working on it. I ended up with cancer which derailed my schedule once again, but I still will go back when I can. Better late than never!
