hi there... =)... well it's heading into spring of 2008 (yes!!!) and some things are changing... life is still busy and the calendar pages are indeed flying by... John and I are beginning to feel the effects of over 50 years of living!! go figure.... well... if you are an old friend or if you just want to say hi or see what my husband John and I are up to (we became grandparents in september for one thing), send me a message through classmates with an email address so I can answer back... or if you are a member of facebook or myspace, look me up there... I have a ton of pictures and info there... those profiles are set on privacy for friends only, but if you contact me there with an email address, I can get back to you or I can add you as one of my friends and we can keep in contact that way... I like the fact that those sites are free... here I can't even see who signed my guest list without paying, but oh well... some people contact me through here...
I really hope you are doing well... I do think of the many people I knew from high school now and then... and I just want to say that if you haven't found the answers yet to what this life is all about or if you have "succeeded" in all you were aiming for in life but are still feeling empty... or if you are going through a bunch of junk right now & don't know what to do next (we all are there more times than we admit), know that God holds all those answers and He is always eager for you to get to know Him and to be a part of your life... He has been a faithful friend, father and savior to me (and my husband) for all these many ye...Expand for more
ars, through good times and really tough times and through all my stupid mistakes (yep, make those a lot)... you can write to me if you have some questions or do some seeking for yourself in the old fashioned Bible... yes, it's a big book, but it's full of life... basically it's a love story of God reaching out to us with longing and with His great lovingkindess and mercy, hoping we will truly find the joy and peace He intended for us to have all along by letting Him into our lives... when we come to Him as we are.... with our failures (all of them), our successes, our fears, our pride (that's a big one)... and then learn from Him... letting Him inside and changing us from the inside out... it is then that we find true happiness, joy, peace, no matter the circumstances we find ourselves in.... I have always cherished the fact that I am never alone in anything that happens to me or comes my way.... He makes His presence clearly known... He comes to my rescue... or He simply lights the path in front of me in whatever I am going through or doing so I know what the next steps are to take... I could not do life alone without Him.... so anyways... in the bible... if you are interested, you can begin by looking in the index and finding matthew, mark, luke or john in the new testament to start... or look in psalms or proverbs... ask Him to help you and He will... He'd love to... the God of the Bible is alive and well and working in the hearts and lives of people every day.... all you have to do is open the door of your life to Him and invite Him in.... well, I wish all the best to you.... =)
