Debbie's Story
I am a Registered Nurse, I live in Washington State and I am enjoying life to the fullest extent possible. I was married to my high school sweet heart from 1973 to 1980. We traveled in the military style to California, Georgia, Alabama, Korea and to Germany. We split and went different ways and I moved to Olympia, WA. We had two daughters, Audrey Jean and Crystal Skye. When I returned to the United States from Germany I became ill and was treated throughout 198 for Hodgkins Lymphoma. I am a cancer survivor for over 30 years now. I remarried in 1982 in Olympia, WA and had a son. I returned to school and got a degree in Nursing. I worked as a nurse for nearly 20 years.
I had always wanted to return to school, but so far I haven't done more than attended a few classes here and there. My...Expand for more
children are grown and my eldest daughter has a son and lives in New Jersey. My second daughter has a daughter and they live here in Washington. My youngest, a young man is married to a woman from Taiwan and they don't have any children at this time. All of my children can be proud of themselves and their accomplishments. I have no regrets and have lived a life full of enriching experiences. I have followed my heart and my dreams and ambitions with as much vigor as I have been capable. I am in no way about to stop and will continue to pursue my dreams and ambitions.
To all my classmates and friends I wish the best for each of you and I hope you will also continue to grow in your understanding of our world. That you will continue to contribute wherever you can. I'll step down now;)
