Debbie's Story
Life
Transplanted from Iowa, Minnesota, Indiana, New Mexico, and now living outside of Raleigh, North Carolina. I have 3 children. The oldest, Melissa, is married with one daughter, Flora Leigh. Her husband is a Lieutenant in the US Navy and attends the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey CA. The middle child, Jason, is planning a wedding to the mother of his daughter, Marlee Shannon. He is in the process of joining the Army. My youngest daughter, Layna, attends the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is working towards her degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in motor sports. in 1999. I began working for Southwest Airlines in Indianapolis and there I met my present and most loved husband, John! Great man. We travel extensively (those free flight priviledges come in REAL handy!), and enjoy visiting family and friends all over the country.
Due to an work related injury, I resigned from SWA and now stay at home taking care of Marlee and my very large yard. My new "hobby" is yard work! I enjoy working out, walking, reading, and traveling. I get back to Burlington occasionally. I still have a brother and sister who live there. Both of my parents are deceased.
