Elizabeth's Story
LIFE
I haven't updated this in a very long time again.
Todd Goecke (Class of 89) and I have been blissfully married since June 20, 2015. Although we both graduated from Bath & know many of the same people (I went to junior prom with his ex-brother-in-law & my brother dated his cousin), we never met until 2014. We moved to the greater Birmingham area of Alabama but are working towards moving on to Central Florida as soon as possible.
KIDS/GRANDKIDS:
-Travis [05-08-1990] He separated from the US Army in 09/2016 (served in Afghanistan) he is still serving in the Florida Army Reserves. He, his wife Libby, & their daughter Colette (my 1st granddaughter) moved back to the Gulf Coast of Florida. Heâs working while he decides where he would like to go next.
-Taylor [01-14-1988] He separated from the Army in 2014 (served in Iraq & Afghanistan) he is still serving in the Florida Army Reserves as well. He moved back to the East Coast of Florida, graduated from college, moved to Central Florida, and is attending another college to earn a second degree. He & Kate are expecting Lily (my 2nd granddaughter) in October 2016.
-Bethany [Toddâs Step-Daughter from his first marriage] She's living in Kansas with her Army husband, Stephen, their daughter Savannah & their son Ryder.
-Levi [Toddâs Oldest Son] He recently moved out of his momâs house with his girlf...Expand for more
riend Rachel. He's following in his Grndfather's & Uncle's footsteps selling cars for a living.
-Christian [Toddâs Middle Son] He graduated high school 05/2016 and moved from his momâs house to college in Huntsville, AL studying to become an actual Rocket Scientist.
-Aaron [Toddâs Youngest Son] He is just finishing middle school this year & still lives at his momâs house. The 3 of us have a lot of fun when we get together every other Saturday to have brunch, go to movies, concerts, and anything else that comes up.
FUR-KIDS:
Iâve had my 7 lb. dark-chocolate female Chihuahua, Star since 2/2009. She was a Pet Therapy Dog for several years in Florida but has retired from that. She acquired a âsisterâ, Reese, a female, 50 lb. Labrador Mix when Todd & I got married but other than the occasional sibling rivalry they get along great for not having been raised together.
MY JOB:
01/18/2016, I started working for Quality Power, Inc. in Pelham, AL as the Office Administrator, which includes, but is not limited to: Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Data Entry Specialist, HR Director, Benefits Administrator, Receiving, Inside Sales Support, & anything else they decide to throw at me. As stated above, we are working towards moving on to Central Florida as soon as possible...if you hear of any employment opportunities...let us know...thanks :)
