Life
Hello Class of '77. I got married the summer before my senior year. I stayed in the choir room most of the time during HS. After graduating, I attended SOSU and recieved a degree in music, followed by a Masters in Education. I have 23 hours toward a Phd, but had to discontinue that for now. I am in my 26th year of teaching vocal music. I taught 21 years at Durant Middle School. My classroom was where the cafeteria used to be. The old kitchen was my office!!! the year 2002. He is doing great and lives with me in League City (South of Houston, North of Galveston). I was married for 24 years, then divorced...single for 2, remarried to a wonderful guy who lives in Texas. I am teaching 5th and 6th grade honor choir in Texas City (10 miles from Galveston) Believe it or not I have a 2 1/2 old son, Kyle. I was always told I couldn't have children...well....at 44 BINGO..baby on the way. It will either keep me young or kill me. He is a wonderful baby. Full of smiles and the music lives in him too. I hope all of you are doing well.
