Debbie's Story

Been married almost 38 years to Michael, have 3 grown children and 5+ grandchildren (newest is due Jul 05, 2010, others are ages 4, 8, 11, 12 and oldest is almost 14), and we have lived in Oklahoma City for 24 years now. I'm a librarian and assistant manager for the Metropolitan Library System. Life is pretty good. I always wanted to be a librarian when I grew up. a good idea. As it turns out, they were right. My husband has been retired from the Air Force since 1991. We have lived in Mississippi, Germany, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico and now longest in OK. We're Denver Broncos fans and watch OU Sooners play, my alma mater for MLIS. If I won $100 million, I'd give ten percent of it to church, then spend the rest on getting out of debt, family and vacations.

The moon is already out, its only 7 pm and still light outside. We're near Groom, TX where the huge cross is. Real neat there has the 12 stations of Jesus. little out of the way but worth stopping.
My birthday present from daughter, Keli Sappington. Cream cheese and powdered sugar inside, these are so good!! Yummy!! Made by a local Lady, Ana her card is in front.
Made it to NE, been 36 years since we've been in this state. About 65 miles from York College. Ready to call it a night.
