Debbie's Story
I left Washington Court House after I Graduated (1972) in 1974. My dad was working at Dayton Press, He drove every day, when the tornado when thur Wilmington, Dad had just missed it by mins. We then moved to Dayton, I had married Rob McNutt and had Chad, but he couldn't make a home for me. So I went to Dayton with my parents. There I worked and took classes to better myself, Chad went to school and graduated from Vandalia in 1991. I remarried in1981 and lived in Vandalia. Then things changed, I got divorced, found out Chad had Crohn's Disease, he was getting a degree in electronics, I bought my own house, and became a grandmother, all at the same time. was going to take him to Florida for his bachelor. I didn't know how this was going to work, with his Crohn's, so I was dating an old friend from my teenage years, he was born in Tennessee and had lived there, he help me by moving me to tennessee to be closer to Florida, I rented out my house, we rented a house, Chad was planning to move to Florida, but Chad and I found out he could get his degree in Tennessee, so here we are. I married this man and stayed here, Chad returned after is school was over to Dayton. My parents are still there, and Chad got married and divorced in Dayton, I have five lovely grandchildren all in Dayton, I am every happy living in Tennessee, Terry and I are raising his nephews, and growing old together.
