Debbie's Story
Life
I went to Evergreen Highschool, in Evergreen Colorado until I was 17. I was one of the Dog Patch girls in Lil' Abner in 1970. I loved Mr. Johnson's Biology Class. I moved to Oregon and graduated from Pacific High School where I went by Debbie Smith. I was on Varsity Volley-Ball and the Track Teams, and was a member of the pep squad. I got to see Ralph Nader up close and personal
as a representative of the school newspaper.
I had two children, lost my daughter 11 years ago in a car accident. I had obtained my B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries and previously an A.A.S. in Medical Lab Technology. I actually worked in Pt. Orford for Dr. Hill for a little while, while I was pregnant with ...Expand for more
my daughter. I moved to New Orleans and worked in a lab on St. Charles Avenue. I also worked as a National Park Ranger for a season.
I now worked for the State of Oregon in Gresham and live in Gresham in a condo with my son, his girl and a roommate. I own two homes in Mexico and a lot in Ocean Shores WA. I have a hobby making jewelery and am still in love with the outdoors. I plan on retiring in 2 plus years to Mexico for the winters , and then its up in the air for the summers. Anybody want to hook up. I'm lonely and want a lifetime companion.
I always wanted to be a marine biologis when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right.
