Debby's Story
All is good in my world!
(update 9/10)
I'm a mom of 3 kids, 1 girl, 2 boys. I'm a grandma of 5, 1 boy, 4 girls. I am a pet groomer by trade. I'm currently married :o). I'm here looking to find my classmates from St. Sebastian grade school from the year 1975 to 1976. Our teacher was Sister Margret. We were the Bi-Centennial Class.
I'm also looking to find some friends I went to school with in Las Vegas, at North Ninth Elementary from the years 1972-73 As well as friends from Stockton 1974 - 75 in Chicago. I did my freshman year of HS at Chrysalis and did my Sophomore year at Las Vegas High. I finally finished HS at Cosmopolitan Prep (Chicago) where I received my G.E.D.
A couple years later I went back to a Technical school for Veterinary Tech and the 2 years later went to Technical school for Pet grooming. I have been a groomer for 20 years and I enjoy work in a Vet clinic where I can groom pets that can't be groomed in ...Expand for more
a regular grooming shop.
School
My best friend was Debby Crossland at St. Sebastian. The person who inspired me the most in my life than as well as today when I think of her is Sister Margaret. Debby and I use to skip class in the spring to go to baseball games and other things to get out of going to class.
Workplace
I started out working at a car wash in Chicago and then moved on to working at a chicken fast food place in Vegas. I went from there to working as a security guard for conventions in Las Vegas Nev.
I moved back to Chicago and worked in a grocery store as a cashier and then moved on to working in the office for a window mfg.
I went from there to Phoenix and went to Long Medical Inst. to be a Veterinary Asst. And went from there to grooming school. I have been a groomer now for the last 20 years.
But my biggest and most challenging job has been as a mom. And I still wouldn't give that job up for anything.
