Deb's Story

Hello Class of 1974, As we approach our 50th class reunion, I wanted to take a moment to share some updates about my life. It's incredible to think how far we've all come since our high school days. Here’s a glimpse into my journey over the past few decades. Marriage & Family Despite the unlikelihood of our teenage marriage surviving, Chuck (La Sierra '71) and I celebrated our 50th anniversary in 2023 by spending a month in Europe, including two weeks with friends in Germany, three days in Amsterdam, and a 10-day UK cruise that took us to two ports each Scotland, Ireland, England, and one port in Wales. s of being married students at the University of Oregon, then serving as officers in the USAF, to becoming grandparents & retiring, we've grown stronger with each passing year. Our son Alex and daughter Erin are both married with families of their own. Both our children & grandchildren have brought us much joy, and we are incredibly proud of the wonderful parents our kids are and for having successful careers. Being Noni & Pops to Alex’s twins, Wylie & Winter, who live in Los Angeles, CA, and Erin’s children, Everett, Adelaide, and Arthur, who live in Tacoma, WA, has been one of the greatest blessings in our lives. Watching our grandchildren grow and thrive is a source of immense joy and pride.
