Debera's Story
Life
Life has been good for me.
I have been happily married for fourteen years to a wonderful man. I have 2 wonderful children ages 14 and 7. They both enjoy soccer, game boys, spending time with friends, weekend get aways with mom and dad and especially karate. I am in a career totally different from major in high school, but I love it.
My dream is to continue teaching taekwondo and become a sixth degree master.
Our family is actively involved in Taekwondo. I am currently a 2nd degree recommended black belt and a level two instructor.

Workplace

e been very rewarding for me. I've taught and cared for newborns up to nine year olds. I have tried management/administration and found I enjoy being the teacher, instead of the boss. My favorite age group are babies. Put me in a room with three babies bu myself and I am happy. My dream is to explore elementary education to see if it is as rewarding as babies.
Military
The Coast Guard was short lived for me. My bad temper and stubbornness got the best of me. While I was there a learned a lot about myself and what I can do when pushed. My one regret is I didn't finish what I started. If I was given one more opportunity before I married and had chldren I would do it again. However, military life is not easy for family.
